Cathy currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the Georgia Association of EMS. She retired from DeKalb County Fire Rescue as a Captain after 28 years. She gained her Paramedic certification in 1987. Within her career she served as a volunteer with Axioms of Leadership, Boy Scouts of America, Bullock Hope House, Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation, Rockdale Charity Fund and DeKalb Christmas Dreaming.
Keith served 35 years with Rockdale County Fire Department retiring as a Battalion Chief. Throughout his career he has volunteered with many organizations such as Axioms of Leadership, Georgia Association of EMS, Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation, Boy Scouts of American, DeKalb Paramedics for Christmas Dreaming and Rockdale Firefighters Charity Fund. Currently serves as a Board Member for the Georgia EMS Preparedness Foundation. His teaching contributions have ranged from firefighting techniques, rope rescue, extrication and CPR. He is a firm believer in serving with honor, integrity and diligence.
Brandon Fletcher, Extrication Project Coordinator
Brandon has been involved in Public Safety for 21 years. Entering into Fire and EMS after graduating high school, he has worked in both county-based and private Fire/EMS industry. Currently he serves as Assistant Chief of Ben Hill Fire / Rescue. Brandon is an active member of the Region VIII EMS Council, the President of the Southwest GA EMS Director’s Association. He also serves as the Region VIII representative on the EMS Sub-committee of the Georgia Trauma Commission, Chair of the State EMS for Children Advisory Council, and Chair of the Board of Directors, of the Georgia EMS Preparedness Foundation. He also is a member of the State of Georgia EMS Advisory Council. Brandon is a member of the Georgia EMS Leadership Alumni, having completed the first program in 2012. Brandon, his wife Kacie and three children, Cole, Charlee, and Cade live in Fitzgerald.
